Psalm 90:14
"The Lord your God will change your heart and the hearts of all your descendants, so that you will love him with all your heart and soul and so you may live!"

About Me

I am a very blessed gal. The Lord gave me the opportunity to attend/complete graduate school in Speech-Language Pathology. He has now opened the door to a great job in a new town working with the geriatric population. There has been a few bumps in the road; however, I'm confident that He has big plans and will work out the details in time. Excited to see what He has up his sleeve next. Ephesians 3:20 "Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think."

Inspired by Blue

Today is a big day. For the first time in 24 years I did something....I have officially ruined my first load of laundry. Here's a quick run down....

I wake up feeling pretty productive. Being in a multi-tasking mood, I started a load of laundry in the middle of sorting through my closet (organizing/cleaning/packing). Not thinking I threw a big blue blanket into the washer so the load was a decent size. I even stopped the load part way through to let the lovely load soak in that hot/soapy water thinking they'd get extra clean. I'm not sure if I read that somewhere or made it up....either way I thought I was being clever. Anyway...I returned awhile later to make the transfer to the dryer. Opening the washer lid to the detergent smell was awesome. Discovering the entire load was blue was not so awesome.
Everything BLUE

Note to self: do not wash extremely blue blanket with anything other than blue. Yes my mother taught me to sort colors but today it slipped my mind. The sad part about it is the blanket was only going to be used to pack fragile items for the move. It totally would've done the job just as well being dirty. My over-achieving self; however, thought my breakable's would appreciate a clean blanket.

I can't be tooo upset because this little mishap was INSPIRATIONAL!! Blue was the theme for craft night with the sis! A little different shade than my lovely laundry but in a good way :) I'm super excited about my new (future) kitchen additions!

Hello Shakespeare.

"There's language in her eye, her cheek, her lip,
Nay, her foot speaks; her wanton spirits look out
At every joint and motive of her body."

-Shakespeare

Welcome to the random formulation of this post. I'm reading along in this book....do-doo-do...blah-blah-blah and BAM.  Hello Shakespeare. I like the way you worded that there Mr. 1500's. I literally read the quote like 51 times (ok maybe 5) to see if I even understood what he was trying to say; However, I didn't feel like busting out my symbolism skills so I googled it.

Apparently he was addressing the complexity of body language..... You can read lots more if you are feeling extra scholarly at http://www.aipc.net.au/articles/?p=103. It has some pretty sweet deets.

Lets be real though...I haven't given this dude much thought the past 5'ish years and here I stand [actually sitting if you want to get technical] quoting him. I am feeling super weird-tastic. Either way I still like the quote. If you could have 'LIKE' buttons in books and there was one beside this quote....I would totally have clicked it. Call me weird but I find joy in the way other people word things.

To-do:
Study for my last set of finals (ever!!)
Attempt to read one's eye language...
