Psalm 90:14
"The Lord your God will change your heart and the hearts of all your descendants, so that you will love him with all your heart and soul and so you may live!"

About Me

I am a very blessed gal. The Lord gave me the opportunity to attend/complete graduate school in Speech-Language Pathology. He has now opened the door to a great job in a new town working with the geriatric population. There has been a few bumps in the road; however, I'm confident that He has big plans and will work out the details in time. Excited to see what He has up his sleeve next. Ephesians 3:20 "Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think."

Trash or Treasure?

Dad is the KING of trashing things, lots of things (magazine subscriptions laying on the table, super awesome coupons, gift cards, unfinished Sonic drinks, baked goods). You name it...he has probably chunked it. He even trashed Haley's hard earned money she stored in a Hubba Bubba gum tape container. Yes, probably better places to keep money (like a bank) but still.

I have always liked to organize all my stuff so I never truly realized I was also a saver of stuff until this year. No. Not like a Hoarder on TLC. I don't keep weird junk like 4,000 rats in my house or rotting food.  I just treasure sweet cards from friends, crafty stuff, souvenirs, etc.

I have always talked smack when Dad walks through the house with that large white stretchy bag (aka trash bag). BUT I have decided to take up his ways and clean out. Yes, I am officially becoming my dad's daughter.

I just ask myself "trash" or "treasure." After a few weeks of this practice....I think I'm ok with this decision. Totally just dropped off 3 trash bags to goodwill and loved every minute of it. This could be addicting :).

To-do list:
Make my trashcan and bookshelf happy by cleaning out school files.
