Psalm 90:14
"The Lord your God will change your heart and the hearts of all your descendants, so that you will love him with all your heart and soul and so you may live!"

About Me

I am a very blessed gal. The Lord gave me the opportunity to attend/complete graduate school in Speech-Language Pathology. He has now opened the door to a great job in a new town working with the geriatric population. There has been a few bumps in the road; however, I'm confident that He has big plans and will work out the details in time. Excited to see what He has up his sleeve next. Ephesians 3:20 "Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think."

OCD

"OCD"....."Perfectionist"....call it what you may. I admit I am a little particular when it comes to certain things in my life. I have about decided that instead of trying to completely change my ways I'm going to make minor adjustments. Tweak it up a little. I mean....Jesus was somewhat of a "perfectionist" too, eh?

Please feel free to place the word "Perfect" in front of the following:

Power
Salvation
Purity
Uniqueness
Position
Righteousness
Permanence
Provider

He is perfectly able, saves completely, so totally pure, set apart from sinners, above all else, holy, everlasting, and meets our every need. I'd say my Jesus is pretty perfect. It's something I would never want to change about Him.

So maybe the focus of my "perfectionism" is a little off base...direction of the toilet paper, closet organization, labels, etc. It's my goal to redirect some of that  to different areas that matter more. A perfectionist in the right areas could be a good thing.
