Psalm 90:14
"The Lord your God will change your heart and the hearts of all your descendants, so that you will love him with all your heart and soul and so you may live!"

About Me

I am a very blessed gal. The Lord gave me the opportunity to attend/complete graduate school in Speech-Language Pathology. He has now opened the door to a great job in a new town working with the geriatric population. There has been a few bumps in the road; however, I'm confident that He has big plans and will work out the details in time. Excited to see what He has up his sleeve next. Ephesians 3:20 "Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think."

Would you rather....

Would you rather always have to say everything on your mind or never speak again?

Oh wow. Not the easiest 'would you rather' question.

'Never speak again'...
Pros:
  1. There are alternate means of communication (gestures, drawing, sign language)
  2. You can't "lose your voice" because you don't ever use it.
  3. If you don't like to talk....you now have an excuse not to.
Cons:
  1. Lots of awkward silences that you can't make up for by chiming in.
  2. Lots of frustrating moments when you can't get your point across.
  3. No talking, no singing....does 'no speaking' include any movement of the vocal folds....like laughing??
'Always speak your mind'...
Pros:
  1. You get to talk still...duh.
  2. You will be known for always being Real and Honest with everyone...which might be a con for some?
  3. You might have a lot of friends because of your sweet thoughts/words.
  4. Your communication skills would rock. There would be no such thing as bottling things up....its not possible. You have to talk about everything.
  5. You would be more aware of your thoughts and hopefully make sure they were Christ centered.....
Cons:
  1. You probably think A LOT of things you shouldn't or wouldnt' want to say aloud.
  2. You might have no friends because of your thoughts/words.
  3. You have lots of thoughts throughout the day....that's a lot of talking.
Some questions stump me....Some are no brainers....
  1. Would you rather have three eyes or webbed feet? wow. do i have a choice?
  2. Wear all pink or all purple to school? duh. pink.
  3. Have a pie-eating contest or a wheelbarrow race? wheelbarrows are way cooler.
  4. Pick your own nose or someone elses? your finger fits best in your own nose.
  5. Run the mile or give a speech for English? mile, no doubt.
